Rome

As I sit here, flying across the Atlantic putting this page together, I'm thinking about what a wonderful visit Elaine and I had to Rome. It was really a second honeymoon/early Christmas present to each other of sorts. Long leisurely walks, fantastic food/wine, and no early morning/late night wake up calls. We love Sierra and Cooper dearly, but it was nice for Elaine and I to have a break together.

Elaine was able to pick up a five day Rome trip (three day layover) from a fellow employee over Thanksgiving weekend. Her Mom, Dad and sister Margaret came down to watch Sierra and Cooper (thanks again) giving us an opportunity to spend time together. I can't even remember the last time we had three days together without the kids . . . it's been years. Lets see . . . Sierra is three and a half.
