September 2nd, 2003 Sierra’s highlights this week were visiting with everyone, the Geauga County fair, and a nice new book from Chris and Ron. The book is titled “I’m a big sister”. As you might imagine, it deals with positive aspects of being a big sister to a baby brother. She honestly loves it! Pointing at the different characters saying “Mommy”, “Daddy”, “Coop” (her nickname for Cooper) and “You” (what she calls herself, I think because we are always saying “Sierra could you please . . .” The fair was also a thrill for Sierra. She couldn’t get enough of the cows, horse, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and alpaca in their various barns. Leaving the pony ride brought out tears and the exclamation “MY PONY”. We diverted her tears on our way back to the car, where she stopped by and sat behind the steering wheels of several farm tractors, which brought out a big grin every time. |
