Snowboarding 2010 - 2011
2010/11 season report
It has been a great season! I'm at 28 days on the hill so far this year (as of April 27th), and have been having tons of fun riding with friends and family!
Sierra has started snowboarding with a flying start, already linking her turns on intermediate runs. Cooper picked up right where he left off last year, skiing the whole mountain and loving the powder in low angle trees!
We have bought the family Timberline spring passes (good though May 30th) and are looking forward to spending more time riding on Mt. Hood!
Videos from this year -
Mission Ridge - I had a great two day/two night trip to the Mission Ridge WWSRA demo with some REI cohorts. We braved camping out in 15 degree temps while having a blast trying out some of next years snowboards!
Utah - I went out to Utah in mid January and got in a day of riding in the backcountry with Brent and Mike, where we hiked Flagstaff Peak and enjoyed untouched magic Utah snow all the way back to Little Cottonwood road! Thanks to Meredith for letting me use her split board and backcountry gear.
Bend - Jason and I made a two day trip down to visit Chris and Amy in mid December, where we enjoyed the Mt. Bachelor "comp" experience thanks to Chris! It was also great to meet up with my friend Cynthia over a few beers!
